Introduction

Welcome to call2prayer.org (the "Website"). These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the purchase of Call2Prayer Box ("Product") from our Website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, do not purchase or use the Product.
 

Product Description

The Call2Prayer Box is a proprietary device designed to play the Azan (Islamic call to prayer) automatically according to specific centre prayer times. It incorporates a Raspberry Pi 3A+ as part of its hardware components but is sold as a standalone product for its intended use. The Product includes speakers connected to a 3.5mm jack, and it operates on bespoke software developed by us.

Ordering and Payment

1. Order Confirmation: Your order is an offer to purchase the Product. An order confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided.
2. Payment: Payment must be made in full before the Product is dispatched. We accept major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover and more.
3. Price: The prices displayed on the Website are in Pound Sterling and include all applicable taxes.

Shipping and Delivery

1. Shipping: We will ship the Product to the address provided during the ordering process. Shipping fees and delivery times may vary.
2. Delivery: We aim to dispatch orders within 5 to 10 business days. However, delivery times may vary depending on the destination.
3. Damaged or Lost Items: If the Product is damaged during transit or lost, please contact us immediately.

Returns and Refunds

1. Return Policy: You may return the Product within 7 days of receiving it, provided it is unused and in its original packaging.
2. Refund: Refunds will be processed once the returned Product is received and inspected. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
3. Defective Products: If the Product is defective, please contact us within 2 days of receipt for a replacement or refund.

Warranty

1. Warranty Period: The Product is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.

Use Restrictions

1. Intended Use: The Product is exclusively intended for the purpose of playing the Azan. Any modification, alteration, or use beyond this scope is strictly prohibited.
2. No External Display Connections: Connecting the Product to any external display, including but not limited to HDMI displays, is not permitted. The Product is not designed for such use, and attempting to do so may void the warranty.
3. No Unauthorized Access: The Product is sold without access to its operating system, software, or any form of user interface other than the functionalities provided for its intended use. The username and password for the Product's system are proprietary and are not provided to the customer. Unauthorized access, modification, or use of the Product's software or hardware is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.

SD Card Use and Copy Restrictions

1. No Unauthorized Copying: The SD card provided with the Call2Prayer Box contains proprietary software developed by Call2Prayer. Copying, cloning, or any form of duplication of the SD card is strictly prohibited. The SD card is to be used exclusively with the Product it was originally provided with.
    
2. Anti-Copy Protection: The Product includes a security feature designed to detect and track unauthorized copies of the SD card. If a copied or unauthorized SD card is detected, Call2Prayer reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against the violator and may disable the Product remotely without notice.
    
3. Protection of Intellectual Property: The measure to prevent and track unauthorized copies of the SD card is part of our effort to protect our intellectual property and ensure the integrity and security of the Product. Any attempt to bypass or disable this security feature is considered a violation of these Terms and Conditions and may result in legal consequences.
    

Intellectual Property

1. Copyright: All content on the Website, including images and text, is the property of call2prayer.org and is protected by copyright laws.
2. Trademarks: The name "call2prayer.org" and any associated logos are trademarks owned by call2prayer.org.
3. Code: The code embedded in the Call2Prayer box's system is proprietary to call2prayer.org. This includes, but is not limited to, the code responsible for the box's functionality, features, and any related scripts or programs.
4. Restrictions: You are expressly prohibited from copying, modifying, distributing, or reverse engineering the code. Any unauthorized use of the code may result in legal action.
5. Ownership: Ownership of the Call2Prayer box does not transfer any rights to the underlying code. The code remains the exclusive property of call2prayer.org.
6. License: By purchasing the Call2Prayer box, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the code solely for the intended purpose of operating the clock. This license is non-transferable.
7. Infringement: Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the code may constitute intellectual property infringement and result in legal action.
8. Protection Measures: We may employ technological measures to protect the integrity of the code, and any attempt to circumvent these measures is strictly prohibited.
9. Code Modification: You are not permitted to modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the code without express written consent from call2prayer.org.
10. Source Code Access: We do not provide access to the full source code of the program. Requests for access or inquiries about the code should be directed to admin@call2prayer.org.
11. Enforcement: Violation of these provisions may result in legal action and the termination of your rights to use the Call2Prayer box.

Governing Law

1. Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
2. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
